Due to the poverty, parents in labor, infant in cage
Four years old Bishwas B.K of Kushma Municipality-7 is compelled to live on chain since one year. His parents goes for a labor job by keeping him on chain inside the cage due to the poverty.
The victim’s mother Ashmita B.K who has been working at Santoshma Hotel in Kushma said that he was kept on chain so that he cannot not disturb her during working hour. Her husband work in transportation.
Ashmita said that she is paid just five thousand a month with food. Bishwash cannot speak as he is already four years old.
Acting chief Tara Sunwar of Women and Children Office said that she had already conducted the field study on this issue. She added that the issue will be discussed with his father and mother to get the appropriate alternative.
