District Court Adjourns Rape Case of a Minor
The District Court has decided to adjourn the case against 28-year-old Ramkumar Mahara of Aurahi Rural Municipality-5, an alleged accused of raping a 13-year-old minor. This decision was made by the single bench of District Court Judge Manoj KC on 9 June.
The aggrieved filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Lahan on May 23, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on May 22. Following this, the Area Police Office, Lahan registered the complaint on the same day.
An arrest warrant was issued against the accused after filing a charge sheet in the District Court on May 17, 2022. However, the accused has not been arrested yet.
The health examination of the victim was done at Ramkumar Uma Prasad Hospital, Lahan on 23 May.
