Navadurga Rural Municipality has distributed social security allowances to senior citizens and people with disabilities by reaching out directly to their local areas. This distribution was facilitated through camps to ensure that those unable to visit Prabhu Bank at the Rural Municipality center could receive their allowances.

Chairperson Laxmi Prasad Awasthi reported that the fourth quarter social security allowances were distributed through the camps. According to Awasthi, the distribution began at Bhumiraj Primary School and Bijayashaini Secondary School in Chama, Navadurga Rural Municipality-5. To accommodate people with disabilities and senior citizens, the allowances were distributed directly in various areas across the Rural Municipality.

Sunnari Bista, a 68-year-old resident of Navadurga Rural Municipality-5 Chama, expressed her relief at receiving her social security allowance directly in a convenient location. She remarked that it was challenging for her to go to the bank for the allowance, and receiving it in her own area has made things much easier.

Similarly, Dhanadevi Saud, an 80-year-old resident of Navadurga Rural Municipality-3 Chilfi, expressed her satisfaction with receiving her allowance so conveniently. She mentioned that traveling to Seri Bazar, the center of the Rural Municipality, was very difficult for her. Receiving the cash allowance within the Rural Municipality has made things much easier. She added that the old age allowance has greatly improved their lives, helping them manage their expenses and reducing their dependence on others for financial support.
