Dissemination Materials in public place against COC
Chief District Officer Jitendra Basnet urged political parties to follow election code of conduct (COC).
The parties were made aware after some posters , flags and pamphlets were found in public places where it was prohibited.
He urged representatives of 16 political parties during a discussion on April 30 to follow election code of conduct.
“Person can put party’s flag in their house but they cannot be compelled to do it”, CDO Basnet said.
He even warned the parties that the legal action will be taken against them who violates the election code of conduct.
