Demise of Detainee in Police Custody
Budhiram Chaudhary, 35, of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-8, who was kept in the custody of District Police Office, Kailali, died on May 19.
DSP Kabindrasingh Bohora of District Police Office, Kailali, reported that Chaudhary was taken to Seti Provincial Hospital due to health problems. However, he lost his life during treatment. He added that the body has been kept at Seti Provincial Hospital for post-mortem.
Budhiram Chaudhary was arrested on May 16 along with smuggled goods without paying customs.
