Demand To Make disappeared People Public
The concerned bodies have demanded to make disappeared people public and fact finding of the incident immediately.
The concerned bodies have expressed their views while speaking at an interaction program on the occasion of 33rd international day against enforced disappearance organized by INSEC Bardiya including many other rights organizations. They further demanded commission for proper investigation and justice to the victims.
The participants stressed on guaranteeing the rights on truth, justice and reparation of the victims.
Speaking at the program INSEC mid-regional coordinator Bhola Mahat said that it is objectionable to put complaints in pending by CIED commission that do not have enough evidences. This will fade the hope among the victims who are waiting for justice.
Basanta Gautam, regional coordinator of Advocacy Forum Nepalgunj had presented report on effectiveness of investigation commission and justice to victims. According to his report , quoting INSEC data, 481 people were disappeared from mid-region.
