Decision to Adjourn the Rape Case
The case involving the alleged rape of a 28-year-old woman by a 29-year-old individual named Pawan Dahal from Atharai Rural Municipality-1 has been subject to a decision for adjournment by the District Court.
Judge Pramesh Pokharel has decided to adjourn the case on August 3, 2023 which was registered in the district court on August 13, 2022.
The accused had allegedly raped the victim on August 13,2022, and on the same day, the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office.
Judge Parasmani Pokharel of the District Court stated that since the accused Pawan Dahal was not arrested until August 3, the case has been adjourned.
The health examination of the victim woman was conducted at the district hospital on August 13,2022.
