Debate over the bill regarding formation of Madhesi Commission
A discussion over the provision on bill for the formation of Madhesi Commission was held in Bhairahawa on February March 1. The program was organized by active social justice and human rights committee under the legislative parliament.
The discussion was held with the objective of getting local level recommendations from the targeted group in order to complete the bill regarding the formation of the commission.
In a program, Parliamentarian members Gyanu Gaire, Krishna Bahadur Chantel Thapa, Dhana Bahadur Majhi, Shakuntala Raj Bhandari, Dulari Harijan and Ram Maya Bogati were present. The parliamentarians said that the recommendations received by the participants were taken positively and committed to include the left issues.
