CPN Moist Occupy MCC Property
The CPN (Maoist) has announced their occupation of 25.2 acres of land under the MCC project located at Kazipokhari -13.
The group hung a banner declaring the occupation on May 30, 2023. According to the party, the team headed by Jan Satta chief Prakash Hamal raised the flag and declared possession of the land.
The banner warns the authority to halt any action within the premises.
The land was purchased from the public, under the MCC project, to set up a sub-station of the power transmission line in the Ratmate-Damauli-Butwal section.
Chief SP, Awadesh Bista, District Police Office, Tanahun, said the police investigation is ongoing.
