Court Slams Two years Each for Human Trafficker
The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 36 years old Raj Kumar Pun of Lalmatiya-3 Bhalubang and 42 years old Mankala Sunar for two years each on charge of their involvement on human trafficking.
A single bench of District Court judge Balabhadra Bastola has given a verdict on November 24 regarding the case.
They both are charged of financially luring two women and trafficking them in India. The accused were arrested by the police on July 8.
The victims had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office of Dang on July 8.
The victims said that they were compelled to engage in prostitution by the accused and were able to flee Kathmandu.
