Court Slams Ten Years for rape accused
The District Court of Jhapa has ordered to sentence Nabin Nepal, 51 of Shaniarjun Municipality-1 for ten years on September 29 after finding him guilty on attempting to rape a six years old girl. The court has also ordered to compensate Rs 50,000 from the accused to the victim.
The accused had attempted to rape a girl on May 30 and complaint against him was lodged by the family at Area Police Office of Birtamod. He was remanded in a district prison after a court order on June 22. The victim underwent a health checkup at Mechi Zonal Hospital on July 2.
