Court Slams seven years to rape convict
The District Court of Myagdi has ordered to sentence 22 years old Govinda Pun of Malika Rural Municipality-1 fro seven years after finding him guilty on raping 50 years old woman. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim from the convict.
A single bench of District Court judge Raj Kumar Koirala of Myagdi had given the verdict regarding the case.
The victim was raped on October 1 last year and case was lodged against him.
