Court Slams One Year to Bigamous
The District Court of Morang has ordred to sentence 27 years old Bhim Bahadur Basnet of Dagihat-5 and 18 years old Puja Thapa for one year each on April 20.
A single bench of district court judge Pushpa Raj Thapaliya has given a verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 5,000 each from the convicts.
A complaint against the accused was lodged at police office by the victim Hima Bhujel, 28 accusing them of marrying on January 1. The police had arrested the accused and registered the complaint at District Court of Morang on January 20.
