Court Slams Five Years on charge of rape
The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 60 years old Kewal Khatri of Tulsipur Dang of Tulsipur Municipality on November 24 after finding him guilty on raping a 42 years old woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Churaman Khadka had given a verdict regarding the case. He was further ordered to compensate Rs 20,000 to the victim by the court.
The accused had raped a woman on September 13 and complaint against him was lodged at Area Police of Dang by the victim.
He was immediately arrested by the police on September 18 after the complaint was lodged against him. The victim underwent a health checkup at Rapti zonal hospital on September 13.
