Court Slams eight years to a rape convict
The District Court of Rukum has ordered to sentence 25 years old Pancha Ram B.K of Tripurakot Sundari Municipality-4 for eight years after finding him guilty on raping 14 years old girl.
A single bench of District Court judge Atma Dev Joshi had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of RS 30,000 to the victim.
The victim was raped by the convict on April 14 and complaint against him was lodged on a same day at police office.
The convict was arrested by the police on April 16 from Aathbiskot Municipality Gotamkot. She underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Salle on April 15.
