Court Slams 16 years on charge of rape
The District Court of Makwanpur has ordered to sentence 38 years old father for 16 years after finding him guilty on raping 19 years old daughter.
The court has also ordered to compensate accused for Rs 35,000. A single bench of district court judge Dhruba Kumar Piya has given a verdict regarding the case.
The victim who is also intellectually disabled was a victim of multiple rape by her father since one year. Complaint against the accused was lodged by the victim’s mother at DPO of Hetauda on April 2.
The district court of Makwanpur had remanded the accused in custody in regional prison of Bhimfedi. The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Hetauda.
