Court Slams 15 years to a rapist
The District Court of Dhading has ordered to sentence 20 years old acquaintance for 15 years after finding guilty on raping 15 years old pregnant girl. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 25,000to the victim.
A single bench of District Court judge Umesh Koirala had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered Women and Children Office of the district to provide Rs 250,000 immediately to the victim.
A complaint against the accused was lodged at police office by the victim’s family on charge of rape on April 8. The accused was arrested by the police on May 15 based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s family.
