Court slams 11 years to a convict of killing sister
The District Court of Bhojpur has ordered to sentence 45 years old brother Suman Rai of Rai Rural Municipality-7, Bansikhora on December 19 after finding him guilty on killing 47 years old sister Sarita Rai. The court has also ordered for the penalty of Rs 1,00,000 from the convict.
A single bench of District Court judge Harishchandra Ingnam had given the verdict regarding the case. A complaint against the accused was lodged at police office on November 11.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at District Hospital of Bhojpur on November 12. Police said that the convict had killed his sister in an inebriated state.
