Court Slams 10 years to a rape convict
The District Court of Makwanpur has ordered to sentence 21 years old Rajendra Rumba and 20 years old Tshering Ghising of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan city for 10 years after finding them guilty on raping 18 years old woman.
A single bench of district court judge Khadananda Tiwari had given a verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered to compensate the victim for Rs 40,000 from the convict.
The victim was raped by the accused in one hotel at Hetauda on May 25 and the complaint against the accused was lodged at District Police Office on May 26. The victim underwent health checkup at Hetauda Hospital on May 25.
