Court Orders Imprisonment to the Guilty of Sexual Abuse
A bench of Siraha District Court Judge Prakash Kharel has sentenced a 14-year-old boy of Lahan Municipality-3 to 8 years and 4 months imprisonment for sexually abusing an eight-year-old boy. The accused has also been charged NPR 25,000 as compensation.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lahan on June 10, 2019, accusing that the boy had sexually abused him on June 9.
The child was examined at the District Hospital, Siraha on June 10. The accused was arrested by the Area Police Office, Lahan on June 10.
According to the police, the accused was sent to Birgunj-based Juvenile Correctional Home since July 1, 2019.
