Court Orders 8 Year’s Imprisonment to the Guilty of Rape
Keshab Gharti, 33, of Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality-4, Mudi, was sentenced for eight years for raping a 24-year-old woman.
The bench of Judge Tej Narayan Paudel proved him guilty and sentenced him for eight years. He was also charged NRs. 45,000 as compensation.
The victim was raped on May 29, 2020, and the complaint was filed at the District Police Office on August 25, 2020.
The accused was arrested on August 27, 2020, and a case was filed against him on September 21, 2020.
