Court Declares 12 Years’ Imprisonment To Rape Accused
District Court has declared 12 years’ imprisonment to Santosh Gharti (21) of Ghorahi, Dang Submetropolitan-18 on September 6 for raping a 14-year-old girl.
The decision was taken by Judge Ritendra Thapa’s bench and the guilty has also been charged with Rs. 75,000 as compensation, informed Shrestedar Dhan Sing Giri.
The accused had raped the victim on March 7, 2019, and was arrested on March 8, 2019. Health checkup of the victim was conducted on March 7, 2019.
