Counting Postponed After More Ballot Papers Were Found in Kamalamai Municipality-13
The counting of votes has been postponed since the morning of May 19 after more ballot papers were found in Prabhat Secondary School Ranibas of Kamalamai Municipality-13.
It was found that there were 1,778 voters and 1,288 votes were cast on May 13. However, during the vote counting, there were two extra ballot papers found after which the vote counting was stopped.
Chief Election Officer Dhurba Prasad Sapkota said that the extra ballot papers were signed by the polling officers.
He said that the counting of votes has been postponed and discussions were ongoing regarding the vote counting.
