Conflict Victims Doubtful on Getting Justice
The conflict victims of Kapilbastu are doubtful on getting justice after rebel party of armed conflict itself came in power.
The conflict victims expressed their views while speaking at interaction program organised by conflict victim society for justice Kapilbastu in Taulihawa on August 26.
Chairperson Ramujagir Chaudhary of Conflict victims for justice society accused that TRC and CIED cannot investigate and take action against the accused when the leader of a decade long armed conflict himself is in Government. Speaking at the program administrative officer Puna Ram Paudel of District Administration Office said that the peace process will not end until the problem of conflict victim is solved. He added that commissions must work for victim’s justice.
Nepali Congress District treasurer Sorat Teli said that government decision to give Rs 200,000 to disqualified combatant is against law.
