Complaint Lodged at Child Helpline for corporal punishment
A complaint against principal Krishna Nath Yogi of Shre Shiva Primary School at Sitapur VDC-6 has been lodged at children helpline for giving corporal punishment to 11 years old Chandra Kala Khatri.
The victim said that she was beaten with stick on charge of playing in the class room. She was unconscious after the incident.
However the principal claimed that his intention was not to charge her but to make her aware about the discipline. The victim’s mother said that her daughter cannot walk properly after the incident.
The incident has been studied by Siddha Raj Paneru of CIWIN and INSEC district representative on March 1 after the complaint was losged at child helpline.
