Complaint lodged against the accused for murder after rape
The District Police Office of Parsa has organized a press meet on October 10 and made public that investigation on Umesh Hajara has been initiated after registering complaint against him on October 6 on charge of killing Sani Laxmi Bamjan, 50 of Thori rural municipality-5, Subarnapuri after rape.
The accused was arrested by the police on October 6 on charge of his involvement in murder after rape.
SP Dr Ganesh Regmi of District Police Office said that the accused has already accepted his crime. Bamjan was killed by using sharp weapon after rape according to the police.
Police have confiscated sharp weapons from the incident site as an evidence. The body of Sani Laxmi was recovered from the sugarcane field on October 5. Police said that further investigation has been initiated on the incident.
