Complaint lodged against rape
The victim’s party of 15 years old girl has lodged a complaint against 28 years old teacher Ram Bahadur Tharu of Bardiya-6 at Area Police Office of Baniyabhar on charge of rape.
The victim’s party said that the accused who is teacher at Anshubarma Secondary School in Bardiya Municipality had lured the victim and raped her.
The victim’s party demanded the action against the accused. On February 22, the accused was arrested by the police according to Area Police Office of Baniyabhar. She underwent a health checkup at District Hospital of Guleriya.
Inspector Hastabahadur Sunar of Area Police Office said that the accused was arrested by the police for further investigation based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s family.
