Complaint Lodged Against Police
A complaint has been lodged at National Human Rights Commission by Jiaul Haque of Inaruwa Phulbadiya VDC-9, against police on charge of disappearing his 20 years old daughter in-law Simran Mandal. He further lodged an application at high court of Rajbiraj on September 22.
Haque has accused Inspector Surya Narayan Yadav of Area Police Office of Kalyanpur, SI Jaya Prakash Shah, Police constable Deependra Yadav and Jitu Paswan including a police team for enforced disappearance of his daughter in-law on September 15.
He has demanded for safe return of his daughter in law and return of Rs 250,000 that has been taken by the police by threatening them.
Inspector Yadav however claimed that letter has been sent to Area Police of Lahan to find the victim.
SP Bhim Prasad Dhakal of District Police Office said that inspector Yadav has been interrogated for second time regarding the incident on September 22 and investigation committee has been formed to probe the incident.
