Complaint lodged against Mayor of Dhangadhi demanding the peace and security
A complaint against the mayor Nrip Bahadur Ood of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan has been lodged at District Administration office of Kailali on September 27 demanding the action against him.
A complaint was lodged by 22 member of provincial parliament demanding the action against him for his controversial speech during the strike September 25 regarding the proposal of Special Parliamentarian Committee on determining permanent capital of province as Godavari and provincial name as Sudupachim.
The complaint was lodged at DAO along with the video footage of his controversial speech according to the Office. However, the mayor while releasing the press statement said that he said such things during aggression and his intention was not bad. He further apologized of what he said during the speech. He also said that he is against the proposal to shift provincial capital as “Godavari’.
