Complaint lodged against corporal punishment
A complaint was lodged against teacher Manisha Magar of Saint Joseph Boarding School at Gorkha Municipality-11 on June 24 on charge of inflicting corporal punishment on 10 years old boy Shreeyansh Shrestha.
The boy was beaten by the accused after he failed to show a course book that was demanded by the teacher.
The victim sustained several bruises over his body. The victim’s mother had lodged complaint at District Police Office against the accused for beating her son in a minor mistake.
Principal father Sunil of the school said that the incident will be investigated and decision will be made based on the findings.
SP Bhola Rawal of District Police Office said that the investigation on the incident has begun based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s family.
