Complaint Filed Against the Accused of Rape
Aggrieved party has filed a complaint against 60-year-olf uncle in the District Police Office on 24 April in the charge of rape of a a 30-year-old physically impaired woman.
Inspector of the District Police Office, Dharmesh Yadav informed that the accused raped the victim by inviting her to his house on 30 December 2022 and the victim is pregnant.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Pashupati Memorial Hospital, Charikot, on 21 April 2023.
As per Inspector Yadav, the accused absconded shortly after the incident and the search operation is ongoing.
