Complaint Filed Against the Accused of Rape
Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office against resident of Shantinagar Municipality-6 and a teacher at Shivashakti Secondary School, Khumand Paudel, 35, on 4 April alleging that he raped a 16-year-old girl.
DSP of the Area Police Office, Pushpa Raj Malla informed that the aggreived party filed a complaint stating that the accused raped the girl on 3 April.
As per the aggrieved party, the teacher, who was also responsible to take care of the hostel, raped the girl staying at the hostel for her SEE examination.
DSP Malla said that the accused absconded shortly after the incident. He is currently being searched by the authorities.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, on 4 April.
