Complaint Filed Against the Accused of Killing Wife
The aggrieved party has registered a case against accused Dhan Bahadur Gharti, 33, on the charge of killing his wife, Mina Gharti, 30, of Robang, Nisikhola Rural Municipality-6, Baglung.
DSP Ganga Bahadur Thapa of District Police Office Baglung said that Dhan Bahadur absconded during the night of December 31, 2022, after physically assaulting his wife to death.
According to Thapa, the police received the information within 13 hours of the incident. There were reports of previous incidents of dispute and physical alteration between the couple. Police have mobilized a team to search for the accused.
The officials conducted the Victim’s post-mortem at Burtiwang Health Center on January 2, 2023, and handed the body to her family.
