Complaint Filed Against Domestic Violence
Ishwara Budha, 20, of Palat Rural Municipality-4 has lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Kalikot on June 13, 2022, alleging that her husband Shrishtharaj Budha, 22, had home evicted her.
The victim Budha has told INSEC representative that she was beaten and evicted from the house along with her minor son on June 11 saying that he would bring his second wife home after he got married for the second time on May 29.
Kalikot Police Chief DSP Siddharaj Neupane said that a search was on for the victim after the victim filed a petition with a photo of the accused.
The home evicted victim has urged INSEC Karnali Province Office, Surkhet for assistance saying that she has financial problems to go through the legal process.
According to the Health Management Office, Kalikot, the victim sustained minor injuries due to her husband’s beating.
