Complaint Filed Against Accused of Domestic Violence
Lilam Devi Mahato, 24, of Kaudena Rural Municipality-5, Motipur, filed a complaint at Local Police Office, on May 31, 2023, accusing her husband Binod Mahato, 26, and her father-in-law Jogindra Mahato, 52, of domestic violence on May 24.
Ramkishore Mahato,47, father of the victim, said that the accused used physical violence against the victim for dowry. He said the victim’s left leg and hand are injured due to the beating.
Ramkishore said that the general treatment of the victim woman was done at Sarlahi District Hospital Malangwa from May 25-27. She was transferred to Janakpur for further treatment.
District Police Office Malangwa DSP Dipendra Panjiar Tharu informed on the ongoing investigation.
