Complaint Filed Against Accused of Caste-Based Discrimination
A complaint has been filed against Prabin Rimal, 19, of Besishahar Municipality-6 accusing him of discriminating Chandramaya Pariyar, 47, on the basis of her caste. DSP Krishna Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office informed that the complaint was filed on November 9, 2021.
Chandramaya Pariyar runs a canteen in a school. DSP Karki told INSEC that the complaint mentioned how Prabin had provoked everyone not to eat the food made by a Dalit and used demeaning words against her caste.
He further added that the accused was being searched by the police.
