Complaint Filed Against Accused of Beating
A complaint was filed on December 10 at the District Police Office against 38-year-old Pema Lama, a ward member from Simkot Municipality-1, and 23-year-old Milan Devi Lama from the same area, accusing them of assaulting 36-year-old Gorkha Bohara, the ward chairman of the Nepali Congress Party, from Simkot Municipality-2.
Bohara stated that on December 9, when he went to ask for the return of the money he had given, both the accused had a minor dispute. His wife, Ludki Bohara, mentioned that during a discussion on December 10 regarding the same issue, they were assaulted, resulting in injuries, which led them to file a complaint with the police.
According to Inspector Saroj Kadel, an investigation will be conducted as a complaint has been filed regarding the assault. Senior Nurse Sarita Bohara at the District Hospital stated that the ward chairman, who was injured in the assault, is receiving treatment at the district hospital.
