Complaint Against Accused of Raping a Minor
A complaint against 24-year-old Yagyaraj Budha of Adanchuli Rural Municipality-2 was filed at the District Police Office on April 18 for the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl.
Inspector Narendra Bahadur Chand of District Police Office, Humla reported that the aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused on April 15 alleging that he had raped the victim in a forest located in Simkot Rural Municipality-5 on April 13, 2024. The accused reportedly was working for Nepali Army in Barahadal Gulmi Raniban Barrack Humla. Chand added that further investigation regarding the incident is underway.
The health examination of the victim was done on April 18 at the district hospital according to Nanda Bahadur Shahi, the Acting Chief of the hospital.
