Complaint Against Accused of Beating Alleging Witchcraft
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 33-year-old Sujay Kumar Yadav and 30-year-old Sunil Yadav of the same place for beating 41-year-old Sadina Khatun of Chakraghata Rural Municipality-8 Aurahi by alleging her of witch.
The victim said that after she informed the District Police Office, Malangwa about the incident on February 20, the accused again beat her on February 23.
The victim was treated at the Provincial Hospital Malangwa from February 21 to February 23, and her wounds were re-examined on 1 March.
DSP Dipendra Panjiar Tharu of the District Police Office informed that they will investigate the incident and take necessary action against the accused.
