Complaint Against Accused of Attempted Trafficking
The victim filed a complaint against 38-year-old Binod Kumar Chaudhary and 41-year-old Suraj Kumar Chaudhary of Barhathawa Municipality-4 at the Area Police Office on April 21 for attempting to traffic a nine-year-old child.
Inspector Suman Baniya of Barahathawa reported that on April 18, when the accused attempted to take the child towards India, the team tried to stop him for investigation in Barahathawa Municipality-1, Hajariya. However, the accused absconded leaving the child in the scene.
Inspector Baniya added that the child was rescued and handed over to his parents and the search for the accused is going on.
