Complaint Against Accused In The Killing Of Senior Citizen
A complaint against 40-year-old Shiva Basel, 40-year-old Sunil Nepali and 54-year-old Top Bahadur Nepali of the same place was registered at the district police office on December 4 for strangling 62-year-old Mankumari Sarki of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-6, Aginchok.
Gautam Mishra, SP of the District police office informed that the accused strangled the victim to death after consuming alcohol on November 30 while she was sleeping.
According to him, the body of the deceased was discovered in her own house, exhibiting scratches on her face, bruises on her neck, and scattered pieces of bangles and garland beads at the scene.
The postmortem of the body was done on December 3 at Dhading Hospital. The accused in the incident were arrested on December 1. According to the police, Shiva Basel, one of the accused, is a person who has been convicted in a rape and theft case.
