Commission must be broad while formulating election CoC: Chairperson Pyakurel
Subodh Raj Pyakurel, Co-chair of CCCE and chairperson of INSEC, said that the election commission must be broader as the incident of volition of code of conduct is increasing.
He expressed his view after the incident of violation of election code of conduct is being rampantly increasing in the district.
The participants of the program organized in Dhanusha by CCCE complained that the concerned body is silent despite of increasing incidents of violation of election code of conduct in the district.
Director Deependra Bahadur Singh of NHRC Janakpur said that even the criminal activities are increasing in the district.
The program was participated by members from civil society, political representatives and media.
