Interaction on Citizen’s Campaign for Clean Election Held in Dhanusha
A program on CCCE has been held in Janakpur on September 14. The program was focused on the issue of election code of conduct in presence of INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel and HURON chairperson Indra Aryal. The participants said that there has been maximum incidents of code of conduct in Dhanusha by political parties and even government.
Human Rights activist Urmila Yadav said that the rampant violation of code of conduct is mockery of election commission.
Speaking at the program, INSEC chairperson and co-chair of CCCE Subodh Raj Pyakurel said that in province number 2, there is a maximum number of code of conduct violation incidents reported. He added that no ethical politics is being practiced. He showed a serious concern on violation of code of conduct.
Speaking at the program HURON chairperson and co-chair of CCCE Indra Aryal said that politicians are not confident on getting votes from voters based on their manifesto.
