Citizen in Gurvakot deprived of health services
Locals of Gurvakot municipality-1 and 2 are deprived of health services after there is a shortages in medicine at Malarani Health Post in Gurvakot Muicipality-2.
In this health post, there is a medicine crunch since two months according to locals. The post do not have a normal medicine like Citamol and Jeevan Jal.
According to local Khum Lal Kandel, there used to be 20 to 25 patients in this health post in a daily basis.
Locals are suffering from ailments like flue, fever along with the change in weather.
According to health post incharge Yuddha Bahadur Thapa, there has been shortage in medicine since two months and concerned authority has been informed about the situation however no action has been taken yet.
According to the information officer Basant Shrestha of District Public Health Office of Surkhet, there is a problem in availability of medicine due to the bureaucratic difficulties in local level.
