Students in Dhading are forced to take risks and attend classes despite continuous rains, landslides, and floods over the past few days. The road from Dhadingbesi to Darkha has been closed for a week due to a landslide at Kintangfedi, preventing vehicles from traveling. School teacher Saraswati Adhikari stated that parents are compelled to bring their children to school despite the risk of landslides because the school continues to operate regularly. Approximately 20 students must cross the landslide every day to reach school and continue their studies despite the dangers.

The landslide above the Akhukhola River has caused such extensive damage that people cannot even walk through the area. Bijay Tamang from Rubi Valley explained that the road leading north of Dhading has been damaged by landslides, disrupting the road connection to Khaniabas Rural Municipality and Rubi Valley Rural Municipality. As a result, people in the area have been facing shortages of food and other supplies, as well as transportation difficulties during the rainy season.

Similarly, Pabitra Tamang, a local health worker, said the landslide in Kintangphedi has made it hard for people to reach the health post. Continuous rain has caused landslides and river flooding, cutting off the connection to North Dhading due to the lack of bridges. Patients and school-going students have been regularly passing through this area for years. Bal Bahadur Tamang, a parent, mentioned that even after a month of the road being blocked due to landslides, the local government has been ignoring the needs of the people.
