Children at risk due to the dilapidated building
Children taking shelter at District Children shelter house are facing difficulties as the building is at risk due to its dilapidated condition.
The building is operated by Nepal Children Association and children are living a risky life as no initiation has been taken for its renovation. This building became weak after the devastating earthquake in 2015.
The walls of the building sustain crack according to vice-chair Netra Bahadur Mahat of the association. He added that the building is congested and it is very weak too.
The issue has not been addressed despite of several attempt of demand for its renovation in local level. In this building, there are 12 orphan children living.
