Child Sentenced For Two Months On Charge of Rape
The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence a 12-years-old boy for two months after finding him guilty on raping a 6-years-old girl.
A single bench of District Court judge Balabhadra Bastola has given a verdict on August 7. The court has ordered to keep a boy in rehabilitation centre for two months and also ordered him to be present in court after three months in supervision of his mother.
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint against boy at District Police Office on July 17. The boy was arrested by police on July 18.
According to the police, the victim underwent a health check up at Rapti Zonal Hospital in Ghorahi.
