Child Marriage stopped in an initiation of Police
Police have stopped a child marriage in Dasharathchand Municipality-1 on December 13. The marriage was about to begin against the will of the parents but with the agreement between the couple.
The parents of the children had complained the police after 15 years old girl of Dashrathchand Municipality-1 and 20 years old boy were eloped for marriage.
After the complaint, police had controlled both of them on December 13 according to the police.
Police had released both couple on December 14 after reaching the agreement that they can only marry after reaching a legal age for marriage.
In recent days, child marriage incidents are being controlled in the district after the formation of Girl Circle in local level.
