18 Child Labors reinstated within their family
At least 18 child labors working at various hotels, workshops, Grill industries and cycle shops in Ghorahi Municipality have been rescued and reinstated with in their family.
The executive Director Tuphan Singh KC of Ghorahi Municipality has summoned their parents in the office on December 5 and handed over the children to their family along with a financial support of Rs 15,000 each.
The social development officer Subodh Regmi of the municipality said that the families were given financial support so that they can send their children to the school and do some income generating work in their home.
All children reinstated are from Ghorahi. Prior to this, the municipality had already reinstated 35 children in their family.
