Chief Minister Participating in the Election Campaign Violating Code of Conduct
The Chief Minister of Gandaki Province has participated in the election rally violating the election code of conduct.
Gandaki Chief Minister Krishnachandra Nepali Pokharel had participated in the election meeting organized by the five-party alliance at Pokhara Metropolitan City-10 Amar Singh Chowk on May 8.
Chief Minister Pokharel had participated in the program using the government’s vehicle and he also participated as a guest in the program.
In the election code of conduct 2078, it is mentioned that no minister of the provincial government or the federal government should campaign for or against any party or candidate.
Rallies were held in different places of Pokhara before the meeting.
